The obvious reason that comes to mind is that both men and women alike are drawn to extra high heels because of the allure of something you know you can’t have or possibly obtain.
Favored by exotic dancers and those with other risqué professions, stripper shoes used to be an accessory not discussed, let alone worn in mainstream society. That is until the surge of sexuality across the Unites States and Europe in the 1990s. Today, go to the local grocery store or shopping mall and you will almost surely find at least one woman wearing a kick ass pair of ultra high heels. Bitch, slut and other terms with negative connotations might be what we are biting our tongues trying not to scream out, but secretly, most women yearn to rock a pair of 6 inch metal tipped stilettos to the grocery store!
Some say high heels give the illusion of elongated legs on even the most petite women or that making a shorter person taller, if even for just a night, is likely to give them more confidence. But honestly, what woman doesn’t want longer legs? Whether you’re a housewife, librarian, school teacher or business woman, admit it—you yearn for long, sexy legs, anyway you can get them!
